Scripture Thought (What I Learned):
Chapter 19: Inheritances by Lot
Simeon, Zebulun,
Issachar, Asher, Naphtali and Dan receive their inheritances by lot.
This chapter outlines all of the land that each tribe received.
Chapter 20: Cities of Refuge for Manslaughter
Six cities
of refuge are appointed for those who commit manslaughter. If a man kills another
man by mistake or accident may flee to one of the appointed cities of refuge, so
that the opposing party does not come looking for him to make revenge.
